Sony Vegas Pro Vs Adobe After Effects

Recently i came across Sony Vegas Pro 10.0

It is a video editing software made by Sony Corporation.
About a month back i downloaded from torrent,and about 3 days back i started using it since i needed to edit a video desperately.
Previously i used to edit on Windows Movie Maker,It is simple in design,user friendly for noobs,and efficient for basic editing.
Now its major demerit is nonavailability of comprehensive features.This problem was solved bu Adobe After Effects and lately Sony Vegas Pro 10.0

Here we go,now i'm gonna make some quick contrast between the above two on non technical grounds.

Adobe After Effects CS5 is far more superior to Sony Vegas Pro 10.0

• After Effects may appear to have a complex user interface in first look and so do Vegas Pro.

• After Effects focuses on advance motion graphics,animation and composting whereas Vegas Pro is for professional video and audio production, as company's tag line says.It has HD rendering capabilities.
• we can efficiently edit videos and audio easily with the help of interactive tutorials on Vegas Pro also it can run on computer having minimal hardware.
• After Effects requires system configuration above normal,by this i mean to say Ram above 2 Gb, processor having good cloak speed and a graphics card of adequate memory as per the video to be edited.

what a drag....!!!

It's been two days now,today was third.It is now clear,yeah i'm targeting end semester workshop training.It's no less than a crap and waste of time.
It is even worse than the normal workshop training that we had in the 2nd semester.
This end semester training is about a month long.It is quite hectic for us considering this scorching summer heat.
many students have already planned o quit it before it's scheduled closure,about a week earlier.It doesn't bother me much.I've decided to leave after training gets completed as i have already made my journey ticket to home.But as said earlier,this training is beginning to appear as a big fat drag.

main reason

From 3 days now we are having machine shop training .There are about 26 students(group 1 of our section) working an a single lathe machine.This way no one is gonna learn properly.I believe this whole training session is just a formality in our college.These are things one has to face if he is not in a reputed engineering college.

There is a solution to this.The only way is to lead the group. 

Enhancements

It came about a week after,i posed the above post.
They are making us to make simple jobs,which i think is futile.
In carpentry shop,we completed 3 jobs in just about 2 hours(usually we are given 6 hours to complete a single job),so as to learn the other techniques as well.

This post was supposed to be posted yesterday but wify network broke down around my hostel room region,so i am posting this post now.....

It is not much time left for the final showdown,it is just a week after from now.Today we had our last day of internal viva's we are free now,and just need to concentrate on our studies.

Our (M.E. - B) last viva was of Communication Skills.We weren't sure how the external examiner would conduct the Viva.At the last moment it ended with the news that we would be facing each other in Group Discussion. It was group of about 15 students,sitting on chairs arranged in semicircular pattern.I was supposed to give my viva in the second batch after the viva of first batch gave over.It was being conducted on Univ. Roll no. basis.

Our subject of discussion was on: India's talented people who don't get a chance to show their talent (here i'm missing of the proper words which Arif sir told).We had a healthy discussion.I started the discussion and it also ended with my words.

After GD, we answered to Viva questions,which were missiled towards us by both Dr. Mohammad Arif (Our C.S. Teacher) and the External teacher.Although i didn't prepare for the viva,it went nicely overall.I answered to their questions on my knowledge attained from the Lingual Lab and Lectures (Having 100% attendance in both).The bottom line is i made them captive with my Vocabulary and sense of perception.I often resented to other student's opinion as some of them were out of subject of the discussion and to more extent wrong. I think, my loud audible voice did it for me.

At last, i felt that external examiner and our teacher was quite impressed with my way of discussion.After all I had a piece of icing left to put on the cake, my C.S. Project Report, it was submitted by a group of five students. I had to put my best knowledge and hard work to complete the Project,the other 3 members out of 4 only collected data on their respective subtopics.

Our Project was divided into four subtopics: Mine was Economical Section followed by other three, namely Political,,social and Historical.
Finally here is our project,that came out....

Approaching 2nd Semester exams

It's about 12 days from now and our second semester exams will start.This Semester was supposed to be "Change" for me after dismal performance in the 1st semester.There isn't time left,but i need to utilize and manage my time adequately.I have a lot to study in M2,perhaps it is the subject which can get  ugly for me.I don't understand why i don't study those subjects of which i have books.For instance i have books of M2 and C.S. but hardly used them for my studies, instead i laid much emphasis on BEEE, Physics etc, having no books......!!!

My 1st paper is M2,are 12 days sufficient?

That's the question which i keep asking myself now and then....

Whatever,i just need to concentrate,prepare well and perform well.

experienced 1st time in hostel had quite quite fun and the best part was that India won... :D

bull shit of cultural fests.

The 3rd day of our cultural festival is about to come to an end in about of twenty minutes.It was Rock Night today this means  that we were supposed to watch some of them performing here in our college.
Today our Rock Night started from 8 p.m.,Today we were only allowed to enter the party ground if we had our college ID Cards with us.It was okay considering the security reasons.Diploma students weren't welcomed there,they weren't supposed to come to our Rock Night,but there's always few exceptions.... haaaaa haaaaaa
Somehow some of them managed to get an ID from the Degree student and tried their luck,some managed to enter and some had to return with sad face to the hostel :(
Akash Anand,Vikas Soren,Prem Ranjan,Pankaj Prakash plus some others and me entered the party point.
we arranged an ID for ,Mahboob Alam and Vivek Thakur(Diploma students),Mahboob entered and unfortunately vivek had to leave.
Itna karna padta hai yaar.......
We were in we roamed here and there for about 45 minutes,then we started feeling boring.
we were very anxious since yesterday a MBA student with his group physically abused one of my friend taking advantage of him being alone.That asshole was drunk,my friend just managed to escape after getting some of him.
It was good that he escaped that situation,he had to cross over a 9 feet wall so as to get over from there in quick time,a day before yesterday another fight broke between students.A Punjabi student was brutally beaten with fists and foots and with bricks  by a group of other Punjabi students.
Another news came that few of them also were injured with punabi knife,which they are accustomed to carry.

However coming back to my friends situation......
The story goes back to the 1st Semester,we were new in the college.About 2 months had passed by then.
we were about to have our fresher party in the coming couple of weeks.
One day,after we had our dinner,we were on our usual walk in the campus.  
A group of seniors(Punjabi's) approached us.We were about 7-8 in number and they were too in that very number.
They approached us,we were puzzled that what they want from us. One of them started conversing with us.
Indirectly they were were ragging us.In the beginning they took our intro,which was okay.......
Later on they changed gears and jumped on us for being Bihari.
They tried to make some of us realize that who we are and why weren't Bihari's are allowed to take part in The Fresher Party Functions.He indirectly insulted us for being Bihari.
We had taken enough of him by then.we told them that we are leaving then the unexpected thing happened.
 That bloody MBA student forcefully grabbed one of my friends collar and exclaimed that no buddy will move until he will say to move.
Then we resented and their friends got in defensive mood and tried convinse that MBA fellow to leave our friend.
10 mins. later we were in the hostel searching for our hostel head warden to register a complaint against that fellow.
On that day it was quite a mess created,and the first one of its kind in the hostel for the starting year.
Our head warden Mishra summoned them in their office and a compromise was made.

That asshole that day took advantage of the situation and tried to beat my friend in group.
 now coming back to the third day of the fest.
we didn't spend much time this day,we left the party ground earlier as we had nothing to do but to hear the local Punjabi guys(singers) which caused us to just pissed off.we roamed outside our campus to the NH for about half an hour,Vikas bought  few of the  cigarettes and we just spent our time trash talking about these fests.At about 10:00 we were inside our hostel,few minutes later we met in our mess,had food and went to retire for the bed.
This way our first college festival nights came to an monotonous end.
